James R. Strohl, of Souderton, PA, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020, in the Lutheran Community at Telford. He was 84.

He was the beloved husband of Patricia B. (Earnest) Strohl for 57 years until her death in 2014.

Born in Sellersville, PA, he was the son of the late Donald and Anna (Slevinski) Strohl.

Jim had been employed for 30 years as a printer by the former Continuous Forms, of Colmar.

Mr. Strohl was a member of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, Hilltown.

A member and Past Master of Shiloh-MacCalla Lodge #558 Free and Accepted Masons, of Souderton, Jim was also a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge # 1539, of Sellersville, and the Tall Cedars of Lebanon.

From 1976-1979, Jim was an active volunteer and supporter of the Pennridge Greenjackets football organization.

With his wife, Jim had traveled the world, visiting 57 countries and all seven continents. More locally, he had also enjoyed trips to the casinos. He also was an avid fan of the professional Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Eagles and Phillies.

Always ready to volunteer for any cause, Jim was willing to drop whatever he was doing in order to help anyone. Most particularly, he loved to be surrounded by his family, and he was especially proud of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mr. Strohl is survived by his two children, Keith Strohl and his wife, Susan, and Todd Strohl and his wife, Melissa; six grandchildren: Julie, Candice, Jessica, Patrick, Krislyn, and Wyatt; and four great-grandchildren: Serena, Lydia, Molly, and Jack.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Strohl; a brother, William Strohl; and an infant sister.

The one thing I will always remember about Dad is how fiercely he loved his family. He took care of us all. No matter what we needed, he gave it to us freely and without reservation. He just needed to make sure we were all ok. That was just Dad. He would have roped the moon for any one of us and I love him for that. His heart was huge and so full of love for his family. The pride he felt for his grandchildren and great grandchildren was beautiful to see and I am so happy that my children had a chance to be so close to such a selfless, amazing man. I will miss you Dad, every minute of every day, forever. I hope you rest peacefully and know that we will be alright. Until we meet again, I love you Dad!
