Obituary for Edward T. Grabert II

Edward T. Grabert II, of Sellersville, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020, at his residence. He was 72.

Born in New York City, NY, he was the son of the late Edward T. and Christina (Goff) Grabert.

Mr. Grabert was a U. S. Army veteran, having served as a warrant officer during the Vietnam War.

Ed was always very proud of his membership in the Penn State Blue Band, where he had played the French horn.

An avid photographer, Ed had a dark room and enjoyed developing his own photos. Ed was a talented woodworker, using unusual found wood to craft bowls and dulcimer musical instruments.

As a dedicated member of Alcoholics Anonymous, Ed attended several meetings daily, where he was the “official” coffee maker. He sponsored other members and also counseled recovering drug and alcohol individuals in Norristown and at Penn Foundation, Sellersville.

Mr. Grabert is survived by his two sisters, Margaret G. Warner and her husband, William, of Hilltown Township, and Nancy G. Nadenichek and her husband, James, of Simi Valley, CA.

Services will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021, at 2:30 p.m. in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
