Ralph Freed Kolb, formerly a long-time resident of Telford, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2020, in Elm Terrace Gardens, Lansdale. He was 88.

He was the beloved husband of the late Jean E. Kolb for 67 years until her death in August 2019.
Born in Kulpsville, he was the son of the late Elwood and Emma (Freed) Kolb.
Ralph had been employed for 20 years at Hatfield Meats, Hatfield, working often in the “Ham Room.” He had also worked in the lumber yard at the Estate of George S. Snyder, Hatfield.
In 1984, the Kolbs relocated to Mansfield, PA. Also “snowbirds,” they spent 16 winter seasons in Brooksville, Florida.
Active with the churches wherever they lived, Ralph had been particularly helpful with the expansion of the Roseville Methodist Church, in Mansfield.
Always enjoying leisure time more than doing chores, Ralph, however, had especially liked using his riding mower to maintain their various properties.
Mr. Kolb is survived by his children, Ralph Edward Kolb and his wife, Brenda, of Perkasie, and Sandra Louise Ziegler and her husband, Robert, of Troy, PA; four grandchildren, Sara Ziegler, of Chambersburg, PA, Kelly Lisachenko and her husband, Greg, of Center Valley, Brian Kolb, of Harleysville, and Douglas Kolb and his wife, Hilary, of Silverdale; two great-grandchildren, Josephina Lisachenko and Anastasia Lisachenko; a brother, Walton Kolb, of Sellersville, and a sister, Pearl Anders, of Florida.
In addition to his wife, Ralph was preceded in death by two brothers, Harvey Kolb and Elwood Kolb.
His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, February 29, at Little Zion Lutheran Church, 267 Morwood Road, Telford, PA 18969, where a visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Interment will follow in Little Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery.
