Obituary

Mary A. Cain, formerly of Perkasie, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2019, in the Community at Rockhill, West Rockhill Township. She was 85.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Charles F. and Elizabeth (Insall) Keller.
Mary was a graduate of Sell-Perk High School, Class of 1951.

She had been employed in various capacities at several Horsham grocery stores for more than 25 years. She was a member of the Amalgamated Meat Cutter’s Union.

Mary was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville.

Close to her large extended family, Mary always loved holding the young ones. Also fond of animals, she loved her cat, “Inky.” Her favorite food treat was chocolate cake with chocolate icing.

A passionate Philadelphia Phillies fan, Mary stirred briefly on Sunday during the Phillies-Marlins game, on TV in the background. She opened her eyes when the Phillies hit a homerun, then closed her eyes, and took her last breath.

Mary is survived by a brother, Joseph Keller, and his wife, Nancy, of Harrisburg, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Charles and Harry, and three sisters, Elizabeth, Rose, and Ida.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, April 22, 2019, in St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960, where a visitation will be held from 9:30- 10:15 a.m.

Interment will follow in the adjoining parish cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in Mary’s name be made to The Community at Rockhill, 3250 State Road, Sellersville, PA 18960 or to Grand View Hospice, Grand View Health Foundation, 700 Lawn Avenue, Sellersville, PA 18960.
