Condolences

Condolence From: Gerard J. St. John
Condolence: Can this be the same Hank Heywood that I knew some 60 years ago? Heywood is a common name – but here the parts seem to fit: Philadelphia as the place of origin; the approximate age; and service in the Air Force. It was 1957-58. Hank was stationed at Dover Air Force Base, but he regularly came home to northeast Philadelphia on the weekends. Then he joined Dom Zambino and me working out on Lincoln High School’s athletic grounds.
About a dozen years ago, I wrote a reminiscence about Dom Zambino. The following is a link to that story (Zambo) on the authorsden.com websit. http://www.authorsden.com/visit/viewshortstory.asp?id=20929 The next-to-the-last page tells about Hank joining us on weekends.
Hank was an upbeat guy and a good athlete. My condolences to you for your loss.
