Obituary for Raymond Bradly Kulp

Raymond Bradly Kulp, of Lake Harmony, passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2018, in St. Luke’s Hospital-Gnaden Huetten Campus, Lehighton. He was 47.

Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Brad was the son of Raymond Bruce Kulp, of Lake Harmony, and Beth (Liu) Kulp. He was also the step-son of Carol Kirschman. Brad was a 1989 graduate of William Allen High School, Allentown.

Brad had been employed as a truck driver by Roadway Trucking. He was a member of the Teamsters Union, where he was an active seniority member.

An avid car buff whose special favorite was Mustangs, Brad was also a passionate sports fan, who loved the Philadelphia Eagles and the Detroit Red Wings hockey team. A dedicated father and friend, Brad was known for his wicked sense of humor.

In addition to his father, mother, and stepmother, Brad is survived by his daughter, Alexa Rochelle Kulp, of Lake Harmony; his sister, Karen Lynch, and her husband, David, of Perkasie; his step-siblings, Darren and Nadia Kirschman, of Allentown, Melissa and Yessid Yunez, of Allentown, Douglas and Tammy Kirschman, of Palmerton, Donald and Diana Kirschman, of Harrisburg, and Dante and Kim Kirschman, of Salisbury Township; and many nieces and nephews.

His Celebration of Life service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 3, 2019, in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960, where a visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until time of service.

Interment will follow in Indian Creek Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Harleysville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Brad’s name may be made to the Alexa R. Kulp Educational Fund, in care of the Navy Federal Credit Union, Horsham Point, 314 Horsham Rd, Suite D-1, Horsham, PA 19044.
