Obituary for Kathleen A. Ketterer

Kathleen Anne Ketterer, of Perkasie, peacefully passed away Saturday August 11, 2018, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem. She was 69.

She was the loving wife of Larry Ketterer.

Born in Portage, WI, she was the daughter of Marion (Lueck) Roesler and the late Glenn A. Roesler.

Mrs. Ketterer had loved her career as an English teacher, retiring after 33 years, following teaching in Japan, Chicago, and, most recently, in the Central Bucks School District.

Kathleen was a member of Calvary Church, Souderton.

Devoted to family life, Kathleen had cherished time spent with her husband, son, and daughter- in-law. Her grandchildren had brought Kathleen special joy, as did her nieces and nephew and her “adopted” daughters and their families.

“It has been a grand life, and I would like all my family and friends to know I will be preparing a place for them in Heaven.”

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her son, Scott Austin, and his wife, Katie, of Buckingham; three grandchildren, Leah, Erin, and Maggie Austin; a brother, Rick Roesler, and his wife, Janarl, of Pardeeville, WI; a sister, Angela Campbell, of DeForest, WI; three nieces, Tiffany and Krystal Campbell and Victoria Roesler; and a nephew, Tyler Roesler.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 28, 2018, at Calvary Church, 820 PA Rte.113, Souderton, PA 18964.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Kathleen’s name may be made to Friends of Nockamixon State Park, 1542 Mountain View Drive, Quakertown, PA 18951 or at http://friendsofnockamixonstatepark.org.
