Obituary for Charles MacGregor

Charles  MacGregor
Charles MacGregor, of Sellersville, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018, in Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Township. He was 87.

He was the loving husband of Mary (D’Almeida) MacGregor for 50 years.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Charles and Emma (Gause) MacGregor. Charles attended North East High School, Philadelphia.

Charles was a U. S. Navy veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict.

After his military service, Charles graduated from Temple University with a degree in business.

Charles had been employed as a salesman for 40 years by A. M. Castle and Sons.

Charles was a member of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Hilltown Township, where he had sung in the choir and served as an usher.

He had enjoyed golfing, fishing, gardening, doing crossword puzzles, and singing.

In addition to his wife, Charles is survived by his three children, Diane, Charles, and David; four grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Emma and Virginia.

Charles was preceded in death by his brother, Robert.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Friday, April 27, 2018, in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 100 Broad Street, Hilltown, PA 18927, where a visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass.

Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to the American Lung Association, 527 Plymouth Road, Suite 403, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462 or Central Bucks Special Friends, In care of Patricia Schuck, 56 Radcliff Drive, Doylestown, PA 18901.
