Ella B. Schaefer, of Sellersville, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at Hidden Meadows on the Ridge, West Rockhill Township. She was 79.

She was the beloved wife of the late Donald C. Schaefer, who passed away on October 4, 1989.

Born in Richland Township, Ella was the daughter of the late William and Emily (Buss) Nice.

She was a graduate of Quakertown High School.

A homemaker, Ella had enjoyed gardening and knitting. Her love of knitting was reflected in her long-time practice of knitting hats for the local women’s shelter.

Mrs. Schaefer is survived by her three children, Lisa Demars, of Escondido, CA; Robin Cooper and her husband, Tim, of Lusby, MD; and Michael Schaefer and his wife, Karen, of Reading; four grandchildren, Tony, Amber, Brock, and Ryan; five great-grandchildren, Aiden, Justin, Gavin, Patrick, and Isabella; two step-grandchildren, Gregory and Justin; and her siblings, Mary, Tuddy, and Paul.

In addition to her husband, Ella was preceded in death by her siblings, Emily, Betty, and William.

In accordance with Ella’s wishes, no services will be held.
