Obituary for Helen J. Janus

Helen J. Janus, of West Rockhill Township, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017, in the Community at Rockhill. She was 99.

She was the wife of the late Walter Janus, who passed away in 1989.

Born in Philadelphia, Helen was the daughter of the late Andrew and Katherine (Zywko) Konieczny.

She had worked for many years as a seamstress at the former Lutz Clothing Factory, Sellersville.

A lifelong member of St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Sellersville, she had been active with the church's senior citizens group.

She was also active at the Pennridge Community Senior Center, Perkasie, and with the Doylestown Chapter of Federal Retirees.

Mrs. Janus is survived by three nieces, Kathryn Konieczny, Theresa Stewart, and Constance Clement; and three nephews, John, Raymond, and Gregory Konieczny.

In addition to her husband, Helen was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Stanley, and Walter Konieczny.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m.,Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960, where a visitation will be held from 9 to 9:45 a.m.

Interment will follow in the adjoining parish cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name may be made to the Benevolent Care Fund at The Community at Rockhill, 3250 State Road, Sellersville, PA 18960.
