Obituary for Margot M. Dudak

Margot M.   Dudak
Margot Mary Dudak, née McGurn, of West Rockhill Township, formerly a resident of Monroe, NJ, passed away Friday, April 14, 2017, at Hidden Meadows on the Ridge, Sellersville, PA. She was 76.

She was the beloved wife of the late Leon S. Dudak, who died in 1985.

Born in Kearny, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Bernice McGurn. Margot was a graduate of Mt. Saint Dominic Academy, in Caldwell, NJ, and later graduated from Caldwell College, Caldwell, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Education.

She started her career as a teacher at Carteret High School in New Jersey and later became a technical writer. Margot retired from Princeton Theological Seminary as an administrative assistant.

Formerly a member of St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church, Kearny, Margot was always active in her parish. She established and participated in Stephen’s Ministry program. She had also been actively involved with many community organizations.

Mrs. Dudak is survived by her two daughters, Maryalice Pane, of Fair Haven, NJ; Francine McCoonse and her husband, Steven, of Perkasie, PA; five grandchildren, Jordan, Alex, Clarissa, Mason, and Crosby; a sister, Monica DuBois, and her husband, Ronald, of Wanaque, NJ; nieces, Bernice and Maria; her brother-in-law, Phil Sanzari; and nieces, Brooke and Candace.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Allison Sanzari.

The family would like to thank the staff at Hidden Meadows for their dedicated support and love.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 19, in St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church, 141 Washington Avenue, Kearny, NJ 07032, where a visitation will be held from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m.

Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
