He was always happy,upbeat and positive. If he couldn't make you smile, nobody could. His spirit,energy and his unbridled enthusiasm will always be with us. Rest in peace DJ.

Condolence: Dearest Marie and Family, I was heartbroken to hear about the loss of your so vibrant son. He was full of life and energy. I remember my first encounter with DJ. A few neighborhood kids and the Holbrook boys wanted to play baseball. We didn't have enough equipment. DJ brought some extra gloves and we played. I said I would pitch for both teams. DJ was not happy with that choice and let me know. I told him to give me a shot and he did. Little did he know that I played softball growing up. After the first inning, he told me I was allowed to pitch. 😊DJ was always very respectful after that. Losing a larger than life personality life force like DJ's is very hard, I know, I lost my sister. She was larger than life as well. When I think of DJ, I'll always smile. His smile was contagious.
