Obituary for Tyler James Naso

Tyler James Naso, of Perkasie, after a valiant struggle against mental illness and addiction, is now at peace in a better place following his death on Saturday, September 24, 2016. He was 25.

Born in Sellersville, he was the son of Joseph A. and Sandra (Delp) Naso, of Perkasie.

Ty was a 2010 graduate of Pennridge High School.

Meticulously organized, Tyler was a music lover. He also enjoyed fishing and playing basketball. A favorite pastime was Nerf wars with his nephews. He also liked watching television, especially “Seinfeld.” He most loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Joshua Alan Naso, and his wife, Katelyn, of Perkasie; his sister, Katie Cerefice, and her husband, Matthew, of Pennsburg; his paternal grandmother, Jean Naso, of Perkasie; his maternal grandmother, Ruth Delp Heisler, of Tamaqua; his three nephews, Madden, Greysen, and Cooper; and his three dogs, “Jasper,” “Jasmine,” and “Quincy.”

He was preceded in death by his two grandfathers, Joseph E. Naso and Charles T. Delp.

His memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, October 2, in the First Baptist Church, 1600 North Fifth Street, Perkasie, PA 18944, where a visitation will be held from 1:30 until 2:45 p.m.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the non-profit organization, Hope Against Heroin, 2109 Clover Mill Road, Quakertown, PA 18951. The group seeks to educate and support those affected by the epidemic rise in heroin use and overdose deaths.
