Marjorie L.   Coll
Marjorie L. Coll, a long-time resident of Sellersville, passed away, surrounded by her family, Sunday evening, February 21, 2016, in Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Township. She was 78.

She was the beloved wife of Richard D. Coll for 58 years.

Born in East Rockhill Township, she was a daughter of the late Luther E., Sr. and Marian P. (Headman) Gruver. Marge grew up in Perkasie and was a 1955 graduate of Pennridge High School.

Mrs. Coll had been employed as a secretary for over 40 years with the Borough of Sellersville. Previously, she had also been a secretary for the Borough of Telford and the former Schulmerich Carillons, Sellersville.

Marge was a long-time member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Sellersville. She was also an Honor Roll member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Sellersville Fire Department, where she was a past president.

She was an active participant with her children’s activities, including Scouts and all sporting events. Along with her husband, Marge was also involved with many civic organizations.

Marge loved to collect roosters. She also loved to ride on and collect carousels.

In addition to her husband, Marjorie is survived by her three children: P. Michael Coll and his wife, Kathleen, of Souderton; R. David Coll and his wife, Allison, of Maple Glen; Audrey M. Coll, of Sellersville; five grandchildren: Matthew; Alexandra; Braxton; Philip and Macey; two sisters, Mary Ellen Tyson, and her husband, Henry, of Quakertown; Judith A. Kulp, and her husband, A. Warren "Sonny," of West Palm Beach, FL; a brother, Luther E. Gruver, Jr., of Trumbauersville; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Marge was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald D. Gruver, and a sister, Janet E. Warren.

Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, February 26, in St. Michael’s Lutheran Church, 25 East Church Street, Sellersville, PA 18960, where a visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. Interment will follow in Sellersville Cemetery.
