Obituary for Harold S. Keller

Harold S. Keller, of Bedminster Township, entered into eternal rest at his home, surrounded by his family, Thursday, January 28, 2016. He was 74.

He was the beloved husband of Erma (Landis) Keller for 45 years.

Born in Plumstead Township, he was the son of the late Reuben H. and Evelyn (Weisel) Keller.

A U.S. Army veteran, Harold had served stateside during the Vietnam War in the 2nd Infantry Division and was a member of the Corps of Engineers, working in demolition.

Mr. Keller had been employed as a truck driver before becoming a business owner and self-employed truck and farm equipment mechanic.

Harold was a member of St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Perkasie.

An avid golfer, Harold also enjoyed tinkering with anything mechanical. He was an animal lover, often adopting lost strays. He also loved history and researching genealogy.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Susan Karetny and her husband, Bryan, of Alpharetta, GA; Harold Keller and his wife, Erica, of Stokesdale, NC; Kristina Bedulla and her husband, Das, of Alpharetta, GA; nine grandchildren: Max, Ava, Flora, Maya, Eden, Asher, Owen, Gabriel and Evan; three brothers: I. Robert Keller, of Plumsteadville; Ronald Keller, of Hilltown; James Keller, of Bedminster; and his uncle, Harold Weisel and his wife, Lola, of Warminster.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Richard, Charles, and Reuben Keller.

His memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, February 5, in St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, 3668 Ridge Road, Perkasie, PA 18944, where a visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
