Obituary for Margaret C. (Weber) Tuttle

Margaret C. Tuttle, of Hilltown Township, passed away after a recent illness on Thursday, March 19, 2015, in Doylestown Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert T. Tuttle for 53 years until his death in 2008. She was 82.

Born in Cody, Nebraska, she was the daughter of the late C. Fred and Anna (Nelson) Weber. She was a 1949 graduate of Belle Fourche High School, Belle Fourche, South Dakota.

In 1954, Mrs. Tuttle became certified as a physical therapist. She later had been employed for many years as a secretary in the lab at Doylestown Hospital.

She was an active member of Deep Run Presbyterian Church, Bedminster, where she had served as a deacon, usher, and communion assistant.

Mrs. Tuttle had volunteered with the Girls Scouts of America for more than 30 years. She had also assisted her husband with the Boy Scouts.

Margaret loved knitting, quilting, rug braiding, and all types of needlework. She also enjoyed gardening and doing crafts.

Mrs. Tuttle is survived by her three children: Michael T. Tuttle and his wife, Pat, of Quakertown; Janet L. Tuttle, of Sellersville; Allen Tuttle, of Souderton; three granddaughters: Nicole Glaser and her husband, David, of Harleysville; Melinda Suder and her husband, Matthew, of Perkasie; Melissa Tuttle, of Silverdale; and three great-grandchildren, Avery, Grace, and Evan.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
