Violet P. (Curtis)  Jaeger
Violet P. Jaeger, 88, an eight-year resident of the Rockhill Mennonite Community, West Rockhill Township, passed away at her residence, Sunday, February 28. She was the beloved wife of Howard L. Jaeger for 63 years.

She was born in Altoona, grew up in New York, and had lived many years in West Hempstead, New York, before moving to the Rockhill Community.

Mrs. Jaeger had been employed for many years as a secretary in the School of Education, Adelphi University, Garden City, New York.

An avid reader and gardener, she had also enjoyed salt water fishing.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Jaeger is survived by her two sons: Arthur Jaeger, and his wife, Linda, of Pennsburg; Kurt Jaeger, and his wife, Paige, of Saratoga Springs, New York; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Curtis.

Her Memorial Service will be held Friday evening, March 5, at 7:30 PM in the Chapel of the Rockhill Mennonite Community, 3250 State Road, Sellersville, PA 18960. Family and friends may call at the Chapel on Friday evening, from 6:00 PM until time of service.

Interment will be private.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to Rockhill Mennonite Community, Skilled Nursing Department, at the above address.
