Obituary for Mildred A. Onstott

Mildred Anne Onstott, 83, of Quakertown, formerly of Telford, passed away Thursday, March 4, at the Hospice House of the VNA of St. Luke’s, Lower Saucon Township.

Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Floyd and Florence (Heimbach) Marsh.

Mildred had been employed for many years as a secretary at the American Baptist Convention, Valley Forge. Previously, she had been employed at American Olean Tile and Philco Ford, both formerly of Lansdale. She also cleaned houses.

She was a former member of Leidy’s Immanuel Church, Souderton.

Mildred played kazoo in the band at SAAC (Generations), Souderton. She loved shopping, playing BINGO, and dancing, once appearing on "American Bandstand."

She is survived by her daughter, Karen L. Siegfried; grandson, Charles B. Siegfried, Jr., both of Sellersville; and sisters: Florence Hartzell, of Lansdale; Joan Dakota; and Barbara Arney, both of Phoenixville.

Mildred was preceded in death by a sister, Letitia Southwell, and two brothers: Robert Marsh and Mickey Marsh.

Her Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 27, at 5:00 PM in Christ Reformed Church at Indian Creek, 171 Church Road, Telford, PA 18969. There will be no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to Hospice House of the VNA of St. Luke’s, 1510 Valley Center Parkway, Suite 200, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
