Obituary for Joan E. Huff

Print
Joan E. Huff, of Sellersville, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018, at her residence. She was 63.

She was the beloved wife of David Bruce Huff for 41 years.

Born in Blooming Glen, she was the daughter of the late James and Betty (Richards) Moyer.

Joan was a graduate of Temple University, where she had earned her Master’s degree in Education.

Mrs. Huff had been employed as a teacher. Over the years, Joan had influenced many students, who still delighted in acknowledging her as their teacher.

When her sons were young, Mrs. Huff had never missed their sporting events and other activities. As a doting grandmother, she delighted in coloring and reading books with her grandsons whenever she visited them in Georgia.

A strong-willed woman, Joan was a faithful, devoted churchgoer, who read the Bible daily. She especially liked being outside, enjoying the sun and reading. However, Joan’s greatest joy was being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Huff is survived by her two sons, Zachary T. Huff and his wife, Chelle L., of Atlanta, GA and Austin T. Huff, of Sellersville; three grandsons, Grayson, Asher, and Coleman Huff; a brother, James A. Moyer, of Maspeth, NY; two sisters, Janet Barndt and her husband, Alan, of Spring Hill, FL and Judy Schroeder, of St. Petersburg, FL

Services were held in St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Sellersville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mrs. Huff’s name may be made to St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 104 Green Street, Sellersville, PA 18960.
