Obituary for Craig A. Wenhold

Craig A.   Wenhold
Craig A. Wenhold, of Milford Township, passed away at his residence on Saturday, July 14, 2018. He was 63.

He was the beloved husband of Tamara J. (Sommers) Wenhold for 32 years.

Born in Quakertown, he was the son of Jackson L. “Jack” Wenhold, of Perkasie, and the late Dorothy E. (Smith) Wenhold, who died in 2015.

Craig was a 1973 graduate of Pennridge High School.

Mr. Wenhold was the president of Wenhold Builders, Inc., Zion Hill.

He was a lifelong active member of St. Andrew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Perkasie, where he had served on Church Council and on the Property Committee.

An avid snowmobiler and outdoorsman, Craig had also loved to travel and spend time with family and friends.

Well-liked and respected in the community, Craig was a very determined but selfless man whose greatest priority was his profound love for his family.

In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by his two daughters and their husbands, Lauren K. and Matthew B. Kershes, of Jersey Shore, PA, and Lisa M. and Ian D. Landis, of Jackson, WY; two grandchildren, Lucas W. Landis and Julia M. Kershes; his sister and her husband, Michele D. and Ron Krout, of Perkasie; a nephew and his wife, Ryan and Nikki Krout, of Sellersville; and a great-niece, Bella Krout.

His memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., Sunday, July 22, 2018, in St. Andrew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 20 Dill Avenue, Perkasie, PA 18944. Please arrive promptly as there will be no calling hour prior to the memorial service. Visitors may greet the family after the service or at the reception following the service.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church Building Fund at the address above.
