Obituary for Marion L. Juniper

Marion Lillian Campbell Juniper, 99, a life-long resident of the Sellersville, Souderton, and Telford area, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018, at her residence in the Lutheran Community at Telford.

She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Wiley Juniper for 66 years until his death in 2008.

Born in Hatboro, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Campbell and Catherine Gardner. She was raised by Catherine and Joseph J. Wurzer.

Marion was a 1936 graduate of Sell-Perk High School and later attended the Lansdale School of Business.

Mrs. Juniper had been employed as a bookkeeper with Herb Cope’s Garage, Harold Frederick’s Accounting, Woolworth, and Harleysville Insurance.

She was a 94- year active member of St. Michael’s Lutheran Church, Sellersville. Marion had also been on the board of Generations (SAAC) since 1986.

Mrs. Juniper is survived by her three children, Richard D. Juniper and his wife, Gail; Nancy L. Jones and her husband, William, all of the Villages, Florida; and James A. Juniper and his bride, Donna Faye, of Gulf Breeze, Florida; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a cousin, Jack Gardner, of Easton; her sister-in-law, Joan Johnson, of Skippack; and a nephew, Barry Wenhold, and his wife, Lizbeth, of Orlando, Florida.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:45 a.m., Friday, May 25, 2018, in the Personal Care Chapel of The Lutheran Community at Telford, 12 Lutheran Home Drive, Telford, PA 18969. The family will receive visitors from 10-10:45 a.m.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Generations, 259 North Second Street, Souderton, PA 18964.
