Obituary for Leonilda Infante

Leonilda "Lee" F. Infante, of Perkasie, formerly of Piscataway, NJ and Chalfont, passed away Monday, August 21, 2017, at Hidden Meadows on the Ridge, West Rockhill Township. She was 92.

Her husband of 53 years, the late Lester J. Infante, passed away in 2008.

Born in Orange, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Sr. and Leonilda May (Landolfi) Infante. Lee graduated with a degree in Philosophy and English from Seton Hall University, where she received a Scholastic Gold Medal.

In her earlier years, she had worked as a teacher and bookkeeper.

Lee was a very active member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville, where she had served as a lector and as both an RCIA Program instructor and Children's Liturgy instructor. She was also a member of the Silver and Gold Club and had volunteered at the annual church bazaar.

She enjoyed activities with a senior quilting group, as well as performing in several theatre productions with Town and Country Players, Doylestown.

Mrs. Infante was a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother beloved by her family.

Mrs. Infante is survived by her four children, Jon L. Infante and his wife, Cindy, of Costa Mesa, CA; Marianne Infante, of King of Prussia; Rosemary Fellner and her husband, Robert, of Lebanon, NJ; David Infante, of King of Prussia; six grandchildren, Christa, Rose, Matthew, Sandra, Valerie, and Jon, Jr.; eleven great-grandchildren, Aileen, Cecilia, Leslie, Joe, Jr., Tucker, Eire, Jennifer, Jessica, Tom, John, and Peyton; and a sister, Christine Antonucci, of West Orange, NJ.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three siblings, Angelina Robinson, Anna Repiscak and Joseph Infante, Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Friday, August 25, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960. A visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, August 24, at the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville and from 9 to 9:45 a.m., Friday morning at the church.

Interment will be in the adjacent parish cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made to National Alliance on Mental Illness, P.O. Box 355, Warrington, PA 18976.
