I too met Lisa at Pennridge High School years ago. She cared about the students in her classes. She also was always a good listener. When she had lunch 4th period sometimes I would go down just to catch up with her and keep her company. She'd patiently listen to what I had to say knowing that somtimes I just needed to talk.
She was a very creative and modest person. We all enjoyed her wonderful, cheery bulletin boards that added a ray of sunshine to our IPC where we ate lunch. When we'd compliment her on her beautiful work she'd just pass it off as if it was nothing. The personal touches meant a lot to us though and the fact that she had spent so much of her own time to make things brighter for all of us.
I will miss her!
