Obituary for Dolores F. Means

Dolores F. Means, of Hilltown Township, formerly of Ambler, passed away Friday, March 24, 2017, at Quakertown Center, Quakertown. She was 76.

She was the beloved wife of Edward G. Means for 41 years.

Born in Abington, she was the daughter of the late Archie and Angelina (Rocco) Brown.

She was a 1959 graduate of Ambler High School.

Dolores had been employed as a secretary by U. S. Masonry, Perkasie, and EGM Contracting, Douglasville.

Mrs. Means had especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Means is survived by her children, Lori A. Means, of Birdsboro; Lee A. Gehman, of Wilmington, DE; Mark A. Gehman and his wife, Amy D., of Telford; Gregg A. Gehman, of Wilmington, DE; Charles E. Means and his spouse, Rob Miketa, of San Diego, CA; and Edward G. Means III, of Harleysville; eight grandchildren, Amber, Gregg, Elizabeth, William, Grant, Isaac, Julia, and Melody; her sister, Martha Brown, and her spouse, Vivian Santandrea, of Cape May, NJ; and her brother, Archie Brown, Jr., of Ambler.

Her memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 28, in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960, where a visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
