Anna T. Simons  Souder
Anna T. Simons Souder, of Telford, formerly a lifelong resident of Perkasie, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016, in the Lutheran Community at Telford. She was 87.

She was the beloved wife of Gerald G. Souder for fifteen years and the late William B. Simons for 48 years until his death in 1999.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Theresa (Pratscher) Brack. Anna was a graduate of Sell-Perk High School.

Primarily a homemaker when her children were young, Anna was later employed part-time as a library clerk for the Pennridge School District, at Sellersville Elementary School and Deibler Elementary School. She had also worked as a medical secretary in the offices of Dr. Kathleen Kucer and Dr. Clarence Freed, Sellersville.

Mrs. Souder was a long-time member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Perkasie.

An accomplished baker, Anna had also enjoyed traveling, gardening, and reading. She most enjoyed family time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandsons.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, W. Scott Simons, and his wife, Selena, of Perkasie; a daughter, Kathleen A. Graver, and her husband, James, of Sellersville; three grandchildren, Kathleen Benner and her husband, Eric, of Harleysville; James W. Graver and his wife, Susan, of Pottstown; Angelica Wilz and her husband, Aaron, of Emmaus; and four great-grandsons, Mason, Logan, Dylan, and Carson Benner.

She is also survived by three stepchildren, Dean H. Souder and his wife, Kay; Dale G. Souder and his wife, Mary, all of Telford; Denise A. Lunoe and her husband, Richard, of Perkasie; five step-grandchildren, and three lifelong friends, Grace Mann, of Perkasie; Elaine Berner, of Sellersville; and Shirley Marles, of Telford.

Her funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, December 29, in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 19 South Fifth Street, Perkasie, PA 18944, where a visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of service.

Interment will follow in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Perkasie.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Personal Care Unit of the Lutheran Community at Telford, 12 Lutheran Home Drive, Telford, PA 18969.
