Condolence: You were a great example of a true soldier you were more than just a Sergeant to me you were like a mother to me and ViKKi I know you two are looking down on us Rest in Paradise.

Condolence: To my Dear Aunt Ruth Jean, my memories are of a kind woman who would always get me aside to ourselves and you would tell me about some family history, you made me feel very special & I'll always love you for that and being the kind Aunt you were to me. Of all my father's sisters you and Aunt Rose were the closest to me and ironically you two were the oldest and the youngest. There's no one left now but you all have left your children to carry the torch and I hope you all will be proud of how we carry out the legacy, you did good through your journey here on earth Aunt Ruth Jean, I know you will hear the words 'Well done good and faithful servant..,come and share your master's happiness'. Condolence: My dear Aunt Ruth, I look at you and think of my mother, your sister Rosa. Your smile, your kind heart and your thoughtful ways remind me of her. You will always have a special place in my heart. Your presence in this life will never be taken for granted cause you made a difference to all those you came in contact with. We will miss you, but your Spirit will live on in the hearts of the ones you left behind. I pray that you are now singing in that "Heavenly Choir". Condolence: We are so thankful that all of our family, from Danville to Hampton to Washington, DC to Baltimore were able to share in our week long celebration of our Dear Aunt Ruth. We know she was with us in spirit at our Peatross Family Reunion and surely smiling down on us at our beautiful and well attended memorial service in Danville, Virginia. And as she was finally as she was laid to rest on Wednesday, August 17th.

We are eternally grateful to the incomparable Mother figure she was, Grandmother figure she became and the example of love she was to all. We join all of our extended family near and far in keeping our cousin Kelly lifted up now and always. Just as we have endured as a Peatross and Breedlove family in the past, we will continue to do so until we meet our Dear Aunt Ruth again.
