Miriam E. (High)  Johns
Miriam E. Johns, of Perkasie, formerly of Doylestown and Lansdale, went Home to be with the Lord Monday, January 25, 2016, in Jefferson Hospital for Neuroscience, Philadelphia. She was 74.

Born in Doylestown, she was the daughter of the late Howard J. and Elsie M. (Overholt) High. Mim was a graduate of Central Bucks Joint High School, Doylestown.

Primarily a homemaker most of her life, Miriam had also been employed in the central bakery for Clemens Markets, Towamencin.

She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Sellersville, where she had enjoyed serving in the nursery. Previously, she had been a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Lansdale, where she had sung in the choir.

A woman of great faith, Mim loved going to church. She had also enjoyed gardening, cooking, and reading.

She is survived by her four children: Melissa L. Womer and her husband, Shawn, of Souderton; Matthew Johns and his wife, Natasha, of Eagleville; Melodie Wolfe and her husband, Noel, of Warminster; Mark Johns and his wife, Hope, of Fort Huachuca, AZ; five grandchildren: Hannah and Ivan Wolfe and Sasha, Sofia, and Nikolaus Johns; two sisters, Marcella Heitz, of Perkasie, and Grace Smith and her husband, Ashley, of Canada.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Elmer, Norman, and Floyd High.

Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 30, in Bethel Baptist Church, 754 East Rockhill Road, Sellersville, PA 18960, where a visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Interment will follow in Sellersville Cemetery.
