Loyce E.   Frankenfield
Loyce E. Frankenfield, a long-time resident of Sellersville, entered into rest October 25, 2015 in Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest, Allentown. She was 85.

She was the beloved wife of the late Bruce S. Frankenfield, who died in 1992.

Born in Brentwood, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence M. and Lola Ellen (Diehl) Ploor. She was a 1947 graduate of Sell-Perk High School.

Loyce had been employed as a secretary for the former Willow Grove Heating and Plumbing Supply Co., Sellersville, as a cafeteria worker for the Pennridge School District, and later as a bank teller for Pennview Savings, Hatfield, retiring in 1992.

A long-time, active member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Sellersville, Loyce had sung in the choir for 70 years. She had also volunteered with the annual roast beef and chicken pot pie dinners, along with many other church functions.

An avid card player, Loyce had played pinochle with her card club. She had also enjoyed knitting, crocheting and solving word puzzles. A lover of the outdoors, Loyce liked walking and gardening. She especially loved going out with friends and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Lisa J. Schroy and her husband, Keith, of Coopersburg; Jay B. Frankenfield and his wife, Barbara, of Leesburg, Virginia; and four grandchildren, Jonathan, Allison and Jamie Schroy and Lily Frankenfield.

Her funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, October 31, in St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 104 Green St., Sellersville, where a visitation will take place from 11:30 a.m. until time of service.

Interment will follow in Sellersville Cemetery, Sellersville.
