Obituary for David B. Frearson

David B.  Frearson
David B. Frearson, of the Rockhill Mennonite Community, formerly of Chalfont and Warrington, went home to be with the Lord Friday, October 23, 2015, at his residence. He was 82.

He was the beloved husband of Joyce (Hoosier) Frearson for 58 years.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Thomas H. and Agnes (Benbow) Frearson.

A U.S. Army veteran, Dave was also a graduate of Temple University, Philadelphia.

Mr. Frearson had been employed for 41 years as a sales representative for Rohm & Haas, based both locally and in Chicago. After his retirement, he had worked for several years in real estate with Re/Max, Dublin.

A long-time, active member of Hilltown Baptist Church, Mr. Frearson had served as an elder, taught Sunday school, sung in the choir and volunteered on various committees. He had also been president for 12 years of the Mission Projects Fellowship, Inc., Telford.

When his children were young, Dave had coached Little League and basketball. Always active, he had loved sports, especially playing tennis. Along with his wife, he had enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, June Frearson, Diane Bode, David Frearson and his wife, Susan, Scott Frearson, and three grandchildren, Douglas, Danielle and Devin Bode.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and Robert Frearson, a sister, Lois Tobaben, and his son-in-law, Douglas Bode, Sr.

His funeral service will be held at 11:30 am, Friday, October 30, in Hilltown Baptist Church, 26 Church Road, Chalfont, PA 18914, where a visitation will take place from 10:00 am until time of service.

Interment will follow in Hilltown Baptist Church Cemetery.
