Ellenjane Y. (Cressman)  Nase
Ellenjane Y. Nase, of the Lutheran Community at Telford, formerly a long-time resident of Sellersville, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, July 11 in Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Township. She was 92.

She was the beloved wife of the late Herbert S. Nase for 49 years until his death in 1993.

Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Dora (Young) Cressman. Ellenjane was a 1941 graduate of Sell-Perk High School.

Ellenjane had been employed for many years as a secretary and billing clerk at North Penn Oil & Tire Company, of Perkasie.

Mrs. Nase was a lifetime member of St. Michael’s Lutheran Church, Sellersville.

A former Girl Scout leader, Ellenjane had also volunteered with the Grand View Hospital Auxiliary.

Ellenjane’s interests included knitting, reading, and watching the Philadelphia Phillies. She had also enjoyed vacations in Lancaster and New England, especially in New Hampshire and Vermont.

Mrs. Nase is survived by her children: Patricia A. Wenger and her husband, Jay, of Perkasie; Philip E. Nase and his wife, Jane, of Haycock Township; five grandchildren: Andrew Michael Nase and his wife, Wendy, of Sellersville; Daniel J. Wenger and his wife, Jennifer, of Telford; Jodi L. Wenger, of Chalfont; Melissa J. Nase, of Philadelphia; Mitchell P. Nase, of Phoenix, AZ; four great-grandchildren: Isaac, Abigail, and Adeline Nase; Levi J. Wenger; a sister, Joanne Heffendrager and her husband, Ralph, of Ridge Valley; and her daughter-in-law, Carol J. Nase, of Perkasie.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, H. Michael Nase, a grandson, Jeremy D. Nase, and two brothers, William and Earl Cressman.

Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 16 in the Chapel of St. Michael’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 25 East Church Street, Sellersville, PA 18960. A visitation will be held at church from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Interment will follow in Sellersville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael’s Lutheran Church at the above address.
