Obituary for Anna M. (Kukowski) Lederach
Anna M. Lederach, of Schwenksville, formerly of Quakertown and Hilltown Township, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2015 in Gwynedd Square Nursing Center, Lansdale. She was 81.
Born in Milford Township (Bucks County), she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Clementson) Kukowski.
Anna had been employed for 40 years as a sorter and as a silk screener in the Decorating Department at American Olean Tile, Lansdale, retiring in 1992. Previously, she had worked at Royal Pants Company, Perkasie.
A devoted grandmother, Anna loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed travelling and special times with her friends.
She is survived by her two sons: Robert A. Lederach, of Easton; Dennis K. Lederach and his wife, Madeline “Vicki”, of Schwenksville; three grandsons: Christopher Lederach, of Schwenksville; Nathan Lederach, of Philadelphia; Ryan Lederach, of Ventnor, New Jersey; a brother, Joseph Kukowski, and his wife, Janet, of Green Lane; two sisters: Josephine Jerema, of Perkasie; Peggy Bader, of Florida; and her faithful dog, “Snuggles.”
Her memorial service will be held at 11a.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2015 in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960, where a visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service.
Interment will be in Sellersville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The ALS Association, Greater Philadelphia Chapter, 321 Norristown Road, Suite 260, Ambler, PA 19002.
