Obituary for Jason A. Doelp

Jason A.  Doelp
Jason A. Doelp, of Perkasie, passed away after a long battle with heroin addiction on Monday, May 19, at his residence. He was 33.

Born in Sellersville, he was the son of Jeffrey A. and Linda A. (Ferri) Doelp. He was a 1998 graduate of Pennridge High School.

Jason had owned and operated his own landscaping business, J.A. Custom Landscape, Perkasie. He had enjoyed participating in the Bucks County Designer House.

He was a lifelong member of St. Andrew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Perkasie, where he had sung in the Junior Choir.

An avid writer, Jason had composed many poems and journals. He also enjoyed ‘80s music. His landscaping talents were especially evident in his artistic designs with bonsai and unique plantings. His sense of humor was infectious.

In addition to his parents, Jason is survived by his two sons, Connor D. Doelp and Caleb E. Doelp, both of Green Lane; his daughter, Madison C. Doelp, of Perkasie; two brothers, Gregory A. Doelp; Kyle A. Doelp and his wife, Heather, all of Perkasie; maternal grandparents, Peter and Patricia Ferri, of Pipersville; paternal grandparents, Allan and Nancy Doelp, of Oak Island, NC; and the mothers of his children, Stacey DeLong, of Green Lane; and Megan Doelp, of Perkasie.

His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 24, in St. Andrew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 20 Dill Avenue, Perkasie, where a visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.

Interment will follow in St. Andrew’s Union Cemetery, Perkasie.
