Ira F.  Fox
Ira F. Fox, of Quakertown, passed from this world on Monday, May 12, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Quakertown. He was the beloved husband of Debra (Miller) Fox for 39 years. He was 64.

Born in Marathon, New York, he was the son of the late Clinton and Iva (Fox) Fox.

Ira was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force, having served during the Vietnam War.

He had been a Quakertown resident for over 30 years.

Known as “Dreamer,” Ira had been employed for over 25 years as a truck driver, most recently by Old Castle (Frontier Wood Products), of Quakertown.

Ira loved woodworking. Most importantly, he touched the lives of many with his quirky sense of humor and boundless generosity.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Katrina Morris, and her husband, Nathanael, of Quakertown; two sisters: Beulah Christopher and her husband Lloyd, of Cortland, NY and Wanda Harvey, of Algood, TN; five brothers: Earl Fox and his wife, Donna; Joe Fox and his wife, Sheila, all of Cortland; Dan Fox and his wife, Wilma, of Nanticoke, PA; Jay Fox, of Cortland; and Gaius Fox, of Lacona, NY; many nieces and nephews; his in-laws, Harold C. and Joyce (Breneisen) Miller, of Sellersville; his dog, “Roxanne,” and his two cats, “Spook” and “Gizmo.”

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, in the Melody Lakes Community Center, 1045 North West End Blvd, Quakertown, PA 18951. Interment will be conducted privately at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to The Fox Family, P.O. Box 23, Zion Hill, PA 18981 to help defray medical costs.
